- Sequencing, assembly and annotation of microbial genomes with application to species of Leishmania, Leptospira y Anaplasma.
- Molecular evolution and phylogenetics applied to pathogenic microorganisms, including SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).
- Predictive strategies for the identification of B- and T-cell epitopes for the design of vaccines within the paradigm of reverse vaccinology.
