ACCESS TO MASS SPECTROMETRY EQUIPMENT: ACADEMIC USE

Per hour (1 hour minimum) or per sample: $ 30 / hour for MS, additional $ 30 / hour for UHPLC.

Per year (up to 150 hours per person, includes all equipment): $ 3,000 per person per year, $ 10 / additional hour for UHPLC after 75 hours of use

MALDI

WHY PAY?

Our facilities offer the latest in Bruker line mass spectrometry technology (MicrOTOF-QIII and UltrafleXtreme).

Our kits cover a wide range of samples: metabolites, small molecules, peptides, proteins and tissues (for images with the MALDI-TOF).

Costs include solvents. MALDI matrix is ​​not included for applications such as BioTyper and imaging. We recommend that users get their own columns for the UHPLC. It is the user’s responsibility to bring their samples filtered and in autosampler septa vials (compatible with Agilent vials 5182-0716 and septa 5182-0717) if they wish to use the UHPLC. We offer the first doctoral program in Panama in Biotechnology with the endorsement of the Acharya Nagarjuna University of India.
