The Latin American Congress of Translational Oncology (TO-LAC 2026) will bring together researchers, physicians, students, institutions, and companies from the biomedical field to strengthen scientific cooperation in cancer research across the region.
Organized by INDICASAT-AIP in collaboration with academic and institutional partners, this event aims to promote translational research that connects laboratory findings with clinical advancements.
Congress Objectives

Strengthen scientific integration between Latin America, the Caribbean, and other regions in the field of translational oncology.

Foster collaboration between basic, clinical, and public health researchers to accelerate the application of scientific knowledge for patient benefit.

Promote the exchange of experiences and the development of policies that advance equity in cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Create a training space for young researchers, clinicians, and graduate students.

Develop the Panama Declaration on Translational Oncology as a framework for regional cooperation.

250 researchers, physicians, clinicians, students, patient associations, public and private institutions, and representatives from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
