COLLABORATORS

The high percentage of projects winning calls is evidence of the potential to raise funds that contribute to the generation of knowledge and the development of new technologies.

Of the winning projects, more than 50% are carried out in collaboration with researchers from international institutions, which places Panama among the Latin American countries with the highest scientific productivity and international recognition.

ALLIES

Our main allies include the International Cooperative Biodiversity Group (ICBG), a group responsible for the discovery of molecules derived from natural products for the development of new substances to fight cancer and tropical diseases. We also collaborate with researchers and students from national universities such as the Technological University of Panama (UTP), the National University of Panama (UP), and the Santa María la Antigua University (USMA), among others, and research institutions such as the Commemorative Institute Gorgas for Health Studies (ICGES) and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI).
