CAAC VISION

The Center for Academic Affairs and Collaboration (CAAC) began its functions in 2011 with the mission of coordinating all educational and research programs at the Institute and administering all scholarships dedicated to supporting education.

The CAAC’s vision is to develop excellence in teaching and training in innovative and scientific research. This allows us to respond to the evolution of trends, challenges, and opportunities in scientific training in Panama.

This center seeks to consolidate the integration of new programs and new talents, supporting a culture of national and international collaboration to advance the research and innovation system in Panama. For this reason, in 2018 the CAAC incorporates into its objectives the function of also performing as a collaboration center, through the development of planning strategies, to define a series of activities aimed at enhancing the Institute’s work outside and within the same.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CAAC

  • Support research through academic development and capacity building.
  • Identify and involve stakeholders throughout the scientific research and information value chain.
  • Monitor key indicators related to national and international strategies.
